Again total newbie here. I had to cancel an order today. I refunded the buyer. How do I mark the order as such. Do I mark it shipped to get it off my board or is there something else to mark it as.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks in advance for your help. If you used the Paypal refund option on the order it would have canceled the order for you. I assume you just sent him his money directly, which means both you and him lost money in Paypal fees. If you mark the order as shipped you will need to relist the books, but more importantly you risk having the buyer file a claim with Paypal. Since you didn't refund through the actual order the order is open as far as Paypal is concerned. If your customer wanted to pull a fast one he just needs to file a claim and since you can't prove you shipped the order (because you didn't) he'll win his case and get his money back a second time. Hopefully that won't happen. As far as getting the order cancelled you'll have to send a note to Joe and ask him to do it for you. If you don't you'll end up paying CCL fees on top of the Paypal fees. In the future remember to issue all refunds (full & partial) from the Paypal order itself. There's a link at the bottom of the Paypal order page.
