This is the first issue/story I've seen where you've needed something to follow the dialogue. Every other issue with AR seems to be more bonus content and extra features.

I thought it was just bonus content, too. But this time it actually affects the story?! Yeah, that's BS! It's a paper comic, not an app-based thing. You pay for the story. I don't own a smart-phone either. Hell, I'm still carrying around a flip-phone.

The Marvel AR stuff is bonus content (usually behind the scenes, sketches, or interviews with creators) that's supposed to enhance your reading experience. To view it, you look at it through your iPad or smartphone camera. There is no additional story content and you do not have to read the AR features to understand the story.
