Picked up Secret of the Wings (Disney Fairies movie) for my wife and daughter.

Also on a total impulse buy, I bought Karate-Robo Zaborgar (blu) because it sounded like a fun Japanese live-action movie (Part Motorcycle. Part Karate Expert. All Robot! - what's not to like, right?). I watched the trailer after I had already ordered it and now I'm a little scared. It looks like it might be a step above Power Rangers.

My latest addition to the library:

Now all I need is Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and my Star Trek movie collection is complete! (Well that's not completely accurate, I don't have ST V: The Final Frontier, or Star Trek: Insurrection. But then I don't want to own those pieces of crap.)

It's pretty incredible to see the price of BD's come down so low so fast. It used to be that the cost of media would drop when something new came out and the industry wanted customers to adopt it quickly. There isn't anything lined up after BD as far as physical media so I assume that the factor driving down it's cost is online streaming.

Anyway, I digress. I just picked up a few BD's at Target yesterday for $5 each. Good deals.

Metallica: Live, Sh*t, Binge, & Purge - Documentary and Live Set:

I remember this being a key item I sought after when I was younger and never got my grubby mitts on.

I only got the 3 VHSs that come in the set, not the 2 CDs unfortunately (nor the cool Metallica foot-locker it came in). But since I got them at Goodwill for only $1 a piece, I can't complain.

I agree. I picked up a few of my more recent additions at Target for just $5/each. Also, last night, I picked up about 15 Blu-Rays for only $1/each at the local Dollar Tree. Now they may not be the BEST movies out there, but they were only $1/each. I couldn't pass up that deal. I will post what I picked up later in the week.

-Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
-Star Trek: The 25th Anniversary
