The complete pack is a sweet deal if a person was going to try to get all the covers (and I'm sure that people will do so)... it's about $60 off cover price.

this is the type of stuff that is slowly pushing me out of comics again, I know I don't have to buy them (and I don't) but this variant craze just ruins me on the whole hobby

The best way for this to backfire is for the LCS across America to not order them. Let 'em sit and collect dust in DC's warehouses. It's the only way, and I've been saying it since the variant craze began back in the 80's/90's, that it's gonna stop. Either store owners have to call BS and not order them, or the consumer has to stop shelling out their dough for this type of ridiculous stunt. Winter is coming...
