My wife suffers from hearing loss - not as significant as yours though - and was floored how loud driving a car was the first time she wore her hearing aids. 8+ years later of wearing hearing aids and she still hears sounds for what seems the first time to her. It's amazing (to me) to have her ask me "Wow! is that really that loud?" or "I had no clue that's what it sounded like!" so I can't imagine what it is like for you after all these years.

AMAZING! That's awesome, man! Congrats!!!!!!!! I guess I should consider myself lucky (instead of cursed) as I have Wolverine type sense of hearing. Most of my senses are GREATLY enhanced on their own.
Keep reading comic "books" and NOT digi comics, because PAPER RULES!

Good to hear this kind of news, and yes, I can only imagine how good it is to hear your favorite Xmas songs "again for the first time". "We make a pretty good team, even if we don't work together." - My son We put the "RP" into RPG!www.neverdarklands.net
