I'm at the shop, trying to edit the inventory while we're on vacation. And ... I'm having a major problem. I loaded CCL, and attempted to remove a few issues from our inventory. I also decided to try and speed things up a little bit for our loading, by removing a few titles from our personal DB that we no longer have for sale.
I did the non-letter titles first (100 Bullets, 2099 Unlimited, etc), and tried to update.
And CCL is freezing. It goes through the title updating, where it looks at every title, and gets to "Check for Updates" "Cleaning Database" "Inactivated Issues" and it freezes. Again, and again, and again. I don't know how to fix this.

Your first mistake was trying to delete titles. That is what always happens. You just have to wait it out. Next time do it at night and let it run while you sleep.

How many did you try to delete at once? I've never had it hang up when deleting titles.

It took about 20 minutes, but then it finally went through. :) I'll do another update before I leave for the night for the rest of what I delete.
I think there were about 65 titles, just from the non-letters.

Whenever I delete titles, I do it from the Title list in the Catalog view. One at a time. But it's fairly quick.

Until someone pointed out to me that I could right-click on a title in the left-hand panel and delete them that way.

Which would be fine, if I only had a couple titles. I just deleted 298 titles from the "a" section...
