I've run accross two artist who did some minor pin-up work that they signed and has appeared in Image Comics. They are Allan Whincup and Christopher Bennett, does anyone have any info that might point to these two possibly doing any full or partial book art that I can use to justify adding them to the database?

Having a pin-up in the book makes them artists.

I would say yes, as I asked I want to see if they have done any actual work outside of pin-ups or splash's in fanzines.

Haven't heard of either of them, but if they have any work in comics - even if it's only pin-ups - then they're okay to add to the database.
