This section of comic book talk for the indies needs a bit of love, gonna spread the love. This comic rocked and I enjoyed it tremendously. The colors were a bit, i dunno, off? Maybe it's just me but felt like it may have been better with darker shadows, less blue and pasty ironclad skin colors. I read a review that this was like watching a really good version of "The 6th Day" movie, definitely a must read!

Yep; liked this one a lot too. The art really drew me in (no pun intended) and the writing was smooth and well-paced.
Also picked up Comeback but I haven't read it yet.

If you can't find it let me know. My LCS had a nice stack the other day too. They even had a variant which I now wish I had picked up. I can take a swing back there if you're interested.

Anyone read blackacre yet? It was interesting. Like the story of that one so far, nothing like clone though, but yeah, image has Ben hitting them out of the park?

Yeah, I've really been enjoying a lot of Image's offerings lately. I thought BlackAcre was another solid book. My monthly pull-list has almost doubled in the last few months with the addition of BlackAcre, Clone, Comeback, Nowhere Men, Saga, Thief of Thieves, Think Tank...am I missing any?

Well Jamie, Manhattan Projects is one of the comics hat I truly look forward to every month. By far one of my faves from image so far. They just released image firsts last week if you wanna pick it up. If you want it digitally, I have the whole series so far, I can send it to you.

Both issues of Clone so far have been great. I'm at the point now where I will pick up almost anything that Skybound puts out. None of that stuff disappoints. Someone mentioned the coloring of the book looking off. I thought the art style was a little strange myself. I thought it was more because of all the dots that were used for shadowing rather than the colors. I don't know, it's just weird. The story still rocks and it's not distracting. Totally a book I am looking forward to every month!
Free shipping is available on ANY order $40.00 and above. No minimum books necessary. Whether it's 1 book or 100 books. If it's $40.00 or more, it ships FREE! Also, if you buy 10 or more $1.00 books, all the $1.00 books are 25% off. Effectively making them $.75 books! I've got hundreds of them! Come take a look!

Image has a very talented group of writers and artists. I feel like they have a formula and it's been working. With their success comes the inevitable pr mistakes and I hope they don't have too many of them. Example being the no more 2nd printings. I understand their reasoning but seriously...they have a formula that is working and they should just dump that into a BI server, parse thought that data, figure out who is hot, who is not, and writer/artist combinations and simple print more of that. Of course, what do i know...but i'll keep buying their amazing stories.
