So, how is everyone liking this series? I really want to like it. I love the JSA and Infinity Inc. characters and this is the closest I'm gonna get to them in this New 52 era. And I've really enjoyed James Robinson in the past, especially the Jack Knight Starman series. But I just can't seem to get into this series. It's not "hooking" me, and I'm not really appreciating the changes to these characters. The story just seems "so-so", and too drawn-out. And the redesigned characters really aren't all that impressive. Compared to the legacy and wealth of history these characters have lost, it's not worth the changes. The first issue and the zero issue were the best issues in the series so far, easily. Unfortunately, the Earth 2 versions of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman were the stars of those issues, who are dead now. So we won't be seeing them anymore, unfortunately. Figures that the best part of the book is the part that we immediately lose. What is everyone else's take on this series so far? ***CHECK OUT MY COMIC TRADING LIST, CLICK HERE******TRADE VIDEO GAMES WITH ME, CLICK HERE******TRADE COMIC CARDS WITH ME, CLICK HERE***Make sure that you read and understand the forum rules here

I have no investment in these characters whatsoever so the changes to them don't bother me. I was never into JSA or Infinity Inc. I'm a huge Green Lantern fan, but I love sci-fi so the old Alan Scott never really appealed to me as he was just so hokey and goofball. I'm digging it so far. Since Powergirl and Huntress are in the "main" universe I'm expecting to see a crossover in this title within the next year or so and looking forward to it. It doesn't matter if it's 50 Cents or 50 Dollars - if you list it as NM it better be NM.Xylob's Most Wanted: G.I.Joe Special Missions TPB 2 Tales from the Transformers Beast Wars: Critical Mass Transformers: Timelines #3 - either cover, no preference. I loved All Star Squadron as a kid, and I loved JSA as an adult....
Earth 2? Not so much. The characters are too far removed from the originals for my tastes. The story isn't winning me over either. The art is good, but I think I would prefer it without all of the confusing words.

Probably my favorite DC book after Batman.

Really enjoying it. I thought the first issue was pretty slow, but have really liked it since then. I like the world building they've got going on. Like Xylob, I have no particular attachment to the old JSA characters, so the changes don't bother me. I look at it kind of like an Elseworlds title.

I have a major attachment to the original JSA. I actually owned several issues of All Star Comics before the JSA made their first Silver Age appearance back in 1963. When they announced this new series, new costumes and new sexual preferences I was not pleased at all. Having said all of that I really am enjoying the series. I would put it second right behind Justice League. I'm still not thrilled about the change in Alan Scott, but overall I find it to be quite entertaining.
