Hey guys, on another forum, I saw someone selling many Daredevil issues so I asked him how much he'd want for every one of them.

He wants to sell me Daredevil (Vol. 1) #119, #147, #196, #234, #249, #270, #296-#300, #304, #309, #325 for $38.00 plus shipping cost.

The most recent issues are VF/NM and the older ones are F/VF. I'll get them bag & boarded also.

What do you guys think about this deal?

IMO, the seller would be lucky to sell them all at once and get that much for them.

I would offer him $37.50 plus shipping.

TreeHouse
Hall Of Heroes

Now for the sellers helping me finish my TMNT collection:

I would pass at even half the price. The later issues you can probably find here for a buck a pop.

Just wondering--if you know zip about comics, why were you entertaining the idea of buying a bunch of Daredevil issues from someone? Are you looking to get into the hobby?

If you're not sure of the going rate for books, I would encourage you to look up whatever issues you're interested in here on CCL. A quick glance at the stores here will give you a good idea of what the average value is of any particular issue.

You're right! I'll do that next time.

I didn't know if his asking price was too high or not, but I guess it was!
