I know most of you would frown upon selling off parts of your prised comic collection simply to buy Omnibus style books but that's what I've been doing. Strictly because of space requirements, ease of storing books on shelves, and comics cost a lot more than books. I also have been collecting the Valiant retailer incentive line and well even though i've been finding killer deals, still costs a bunch. That said, I've been unloading only certain parts only, nothing that I couldn't find again if I needed to.

Recent Omnibus Grabs:
X-Men Inferno Crossovers Omnibus
X-Men: The Fall of the Mutants Omnibus
X-Men: Bishops Crossing HC
X-Men: X-Tinction Agenda HC
X-Force Omnibus Volume 1
X-Men: X-Cutioner's Song HC
X-Men: Operation Zero Tolerance HC
The New Avengers Omnibus
X-Statix Omnibus
FANTASTIC FOUR BY JOHN BYRNE OMNIBUS VOL. 1

Upcoming Preorders:
X-Men Volume 1 Omnibus [Reprint Arrives Sept2013]
Uncanny X-Men Omnibus (v. 1) [Reprint Arrives Sept2013]
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN OMNIBUS VOL 01 [Reprint Arrives Aug2013]
MIGHTY THOR OMNIBUS VOL 02 [Reprint Arrives Aug2013]

Wish List
X-MEN AGE OF APOCALYPSE OMNIBUS
AVENGERS OMNIBUS VOL 01
AVENGERS VS X-MEN COMPANION HC

Missed Opportunity To Buy
MIGHTY THOR OMNIBUS VOL 01
THOR BY WALTER SIMONSON OMNIBUS
FANTASTIC FOUR OMNIBUS VOL 01
HOWARD THE DUCK OMNIBUS HC
X-MEN INFERNO HC

Anyone out there recommend anything that I should definitely add to my collection? I realize a lot, if not most of the books listed above are Marvel. Only because I've been trying to read x-men related stuff.

And slightly off topic but does anyone know when volume 2 of The New Avengers will be released. I've been reading volume 1 and have been literally blown away, I can hardly put it down (even though the book weighs a ton), been an interesting read, especially some of the flashbacks to events that have happened throughout the lifetime of the Avengers, back to the original series. Any ways, I hope the book comes out soon, awesome read so far!

No idea about a release date, but Bendis did a great job on that series.
