I'm asking this because I went to the LCS today, and got Green Lantern Corps #20, which takes place after the events and GL #20, and I realized this like immediately after reading the first couple of pages that gave away a huge spoiler, if not.

I don't remember ever receiving GL #20 in my box, and I don't see it for sale here.

If this is DC's mistake, then thanks a freaking lot DC for ruining the end of the final storyarc of my favorite writer on my favorite title.

Nope, DC dropped the ball and released the Epilogue before the final part of the story.

Good to know! Guess I'll hold off on reading GLC #20 for a bit.

yeah, as I was reading the first few pages I kept thinking "what the hell am I missing here?"
I was pretty lost...
Maybe DC should adopt Image's original slogan of "Almost Monthly!"

I always liked Image's motto "Guaranteed to ship in x month." But they never said, "Or what?" "Guaranteed to ship in May or well oops."

Just because I specify a month doesn't mean you should infer a specific year...

Yeah I thought this was strange for this issue to be released before GL#20

Not only did DC release an epilogue book early but in all the DC titles I read from last week also had ads for each GL book with spoilers right on them. I avoided reading GLC Corps #20 so I wouldn't know any spoilers but lo and behold Batman, Nightwing and Detective Comics spoiled it for me anyway.

Not just week early, either, but two weeks early. I was expecting to see GL #20 in my box at the LCS this week, but was disappointed. Sad

We will be getting all of the #20 issues this week too:

Green Lantern #20
Green Lantern: New Guardians #20
Red Lanterns #20

Why spread them out throughout the month?

I read that there were spoilers in that issue, so I stayed away from it. After reading GL #20 though... Wow, Geoff Johns did the character well, and I'm sorry to see him leave. The epilogue stuff was awesome and the fact that the issue had no ads, save from the congratulatory stuff, which I enjoyed, was incredible. An "anniversary" issue done right. Well done, DC.

Absolutely. Such an amazingly, epic, and satisfying end to an amazing (and long) run.

At first I was like "EIGHT DOLLARS?!" But then after I read it, I realized it was more than worth the entry price. (And the thickest single-issue, non-prestige format, comic I have ever seen!)

Incredible, epic story. A fantastic tribute to the character of Hal Jordan and the mythos that Geoff Johns laid down for the GL Universe.

I've got to say, in the main-story at least, Sinestro shined even more than Hal did.

And what a classy act by DC to give Geoff Johns the respect he deserves on what will likely go down as one of the greatest runs in comic history.

Any fan of Green Lantern, or super-hero comics at all, NEEDS to go out and read this comic. This is why we read comics!
