Those look very nice.

Just curious, but does your Amazing Spider-Man collection contain the annuals as well or just the main series? The annuals contain some great stories.

Also after ASM are you going to go after a set of anything else?

Yea have all the annuals already. I have no idea whats next but something with a lot less variants, lol. I remember as a kid reading the first 30 or so issues of cerebus and loving them so thinking might go that route. Also huge tick fan so might pick up all those as well lol

Lately been picking up a ton of tpb's trying to see if any story sparks my interest in another series. So far totally dissapointed in DC comics. I did like a few Image comics so might look into those.

Thank you for responding, that sounds very interesting. What didn't you like that you've read of DC? Personally they are my first choice but I can see where some people wouldn't necessarily like them. Have you tried Geoff Johns' Flash or Hawkman runs? His Green Lantern (pre-Brightest Day), first JSA run and recent Aquaman runs were very good as well.

Picked up a few titles at a comic shop that I visited for the first time. The comic shop is not in an area that I am usually in because it's about an hour away. But found myself there so looking on my phone for comic book shops in the area and I found this one. Love finding new comic shops that I have never visited before. While I was there. I saw some titles that I wanted to read that weren't already on my pull lists at my local comic stores. Two in particular was Infinity #4 and Action Comics New 52 #24. First Infinity #4. I won't get into too much of the story but if you are a Thor fan. Buy this. God of Lightning? More like, God of Kickarse. Next Action Comics New 52 #24. I always thought Psycho Pirate sucked as a villian. Not anymore. This is not your daddy's Psycho Pirate. He gives Superman a run for his money. Both issues are great reads. If you got room on your comic pile. Buy these books.

(referring to an original comic book piece) This is a art gallery my friend and THIS is a piece of art.

I actually spent a few days in Ohio checking out comic shops recently, wish I'd caught that sale! For those who are curious, it's not bargain heaven, all through the midwest the deals in general are easier to find than with stores at the coast though. Some Ohio stores weren't worth a visit but I can highly recommend a place called "In The Ball Park", it's in Lancaster which is SE of Columbus. Lots of .50 and $1 bins, huge selection of back issues in the $2-3 range, just about the only store with Harley Quinns too (which I snagged).

For older stuff I really liked World's Greatest Comics (in Columbus). One of the few smart & strict graders out there, enough deals in the bins to keep you browsing for a while. Another place in NE Ohio called Bill's Books also had a ton of $1 bins with some deals. There's a lot of comic stores in general in Ohio, it's worth a roadtrip. Only pisser is you have to plan it right because the hours open are sometimes limited.

Some other areas I had luck were the OK City & Tulsa area, there's also a store just a couple miles west of the CCL main office where I found some paydirt, name escapes me at the moment though.

Just filled in most of what I wanted for my Doom 2099 collection thanks to a few sellers here at CCL!

Now all I need is the last issue (Doom 2099 #44), 2099 A.D.: Genesis, and 2099: World of Tomorrow #8 and I think I have all I want.

Got a shipment in today from CCLs B&D Comic Shop.
It was a trial order so it was on the smaller side. They get high marks from me. Good prices, reasonable shipping charges, fast shipping (came in a day earlier than expected), well-packed and accurately graded.

Aphrodite IX (2013) 2-A
Sojourn 17-A, 24-A

Just received some bronze age beauties in the post this morning.

Completed my Champions collection with this last issue. And I always love grabbing Marvel horror mags from the early 70's.

....Plus these two, hard to find treasures for a low price:
