I used to have my subscription service with Pat years ago. I don't post much anymore but i do drop in every so often and noticed Pat hasn't been on in almost a year. Just curious how he's doing.

I've been wondering the same thing. Hope he's alright.

Probably moved on. If I sold my comic collection I had amassed for over sixty years, I wouldn't see much sense in hanging out in comic shops or on comic websites. Better to make a clean break from it. Too much chance for second thoughts to creep in.

I had an e-mail conversation with him a couple months ago, about some Vintage Golden Age-ish items I had. He was doing great.

I just noticed he's the #8 top buyer for December. Curious.

Yep, I'm still around. I don't collect for me anymore although I do read comics in digital form. My buying has been for my wife's Archie collection which is approaching 5,000 books. It keeps her happy (Very important) and it keeps me playing with comics. I am also a member of DC++ which is a site for digital comics where I scan and add any Archie comics that I have that haven't been offered in digital form yet. I'm registered there as ComicsCastle just like here. If you're ever there give me a shout. I'm sorry I don't get to these forums very often, but I do think about you guys and miss all the fun.

The following stores are all stores that I've dealt with or have become friends with through the forums and I highly recommend them all.
Comics Castle-AKA Pat McCauslin
Alpha Comics--ComicVortex--Comic Cellar--Hall of Heroes--Swifty's Olde Tyme Comic Shoppe

Thanks for checking in, Pat! Hope you have a happy New Year!
