Nearly all of the Key Issues involving our favorite friendly neighborhood spider guy have come in The Amazing Spider-Man titles.

Aside from the obvious, of course:

Amazing Fantasy #15

But since then a vast majority of the Key comics have come in ASM. Here are just a few:

You already know that I could post my Top 20 and have people saying,"Why did you leave this issue out?" and I could do the same to your list.

What I'm wondering is this - What non-Amazing Spidey books are considered Key?

Here's another one I consider to be obvious. I consider it a Key not so much because of the story which was fairly mediocre but because of the iconic, Homage-able cover and also because it was the first solo ongoing Spider title to come out in almost a decade.

Web of Spider-Man #1

I would definitely say that this is a Key since it showed the death of Ned Leeds (sorry, spoiler alert! Of course it may or may not have been retconned.) Confused
Spider-Man vs Wolverine

This is an odd Key because it's doesn't really have anything to do with Spider-Man at all. Nah, it's the first time Frank Miller drew Daredevil.
Spectacular Spider-Man #27

I know of a few more but I'll hold off and give you all some time to think about it. There's a couple of easy ones...Think

I know some easy ones include:

Avenging Spider-man #9: First appearance of Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel

Spectacular Spider-man #64: First appearance of Cloak and Dagger

Web of Spider-man #118: First appearance of Ben Reilly as the Scarlet Spider

And some that I personally like:

Web of Spider-man #18: Retconned to be the first appearance of Eddie Brock (also appears in #24, originally intended to be a female villain who could bypass Spider-man's spider-sense, was scrapped and later changed to have been Eddie Brock trying to kill Peter Parker.)

Spectacular Spider-man #107: The death of Jean DeWolff and 1st appearance of the Sin Eater. This story still really gets to me because DeWolff in a lot of ways was a great "replacement" for George Stacy as a sympathetic person in the police department for Spidey. They even teased her as a love interest, but Spider-man was involved with Black Cat at the time, so nothing ever came of it.

First issue of a new Spidey title: Marvel Team-Up #1

Marvel Team-Up #141: This one has been shooting up in value over the last few years. Story I heard is that rumor has it that it came out like a week before Amazing #252. I think?

Strange Tales Annual #2: Ties for fourth appearance of Spider-Man, I believe. They couldn't even figure out his costume yet!

I would also dare say that this is a a key "Spidey" title. First appearance of Amadeus Cho and a few other characters that I have never heard of since. Tongue

Well, since I included one of the first issues from the 90's Clone Saga, how about the last one?

Spider-man #75: End of the 2nd Clone Saga, death of Ben Reilly (and reveal that he really was the clone) and the return of the original Green Goblin: Norman Obsorn after being dead for nearly 25 years. All with an amazing wrap around cover by John Romita Jr.

Ultimate Spider-man #1: 1st appearance of Marvel Universe 1610. I remember not buying this issue for the pettiest reason... Norman Osborn's hair wasn't the same iconic style as the 616 universe. (Though that was probably just the excuse I used because I was a huge Spider-man fan, but I just really didn't want to collect another title.)
