Using the same method as last week. Might as well commit...

VT has representation in every game, with players on Green Bay, Baltimore, Buffalo, Cleveland, and coaches in Tampa.

Doug Pederson joins the ranks of the unemployed.

If the dude hadn't blatantly lied about intentionally losing the last game then maybe he would have kept his job. He did just win a Super Bowl a couple years ago.

So 4 of 6 road teams won this weekend (admittedly two of them were favored), but the only two home teams to win were the #7 seeds, so under the old format, all road teams would have won.

Regarding Doug Pederson, I'm willing to bet that he was guaranteed to return next season, which is specifically why he threw the game against the Football Team. However the backlash against him throwing the game so obviously prompted the guarantee to be rescinded.

I'm still blown away by the Steelers/Browns game... the Steelers have been slow starters this entire season (hell, they outscored the Browns 37-20 after the 1st quarter), but they really got the doors beat off of them in the 1st quarter.

Having the Steelers first snap on offense sail over Rossenberg's head (not easy to do) and into the end zone didn't help either. Tongue

Green Bay - #1 Defense (LAR) vs the #1 Offense (GB). Rams are having a tough time at QB and the Pack can't stop the run. Game is being played on the Frozen Tundra. Green Bay wins by 11

Buffalo - Neither team has lost a game in about 2 months. Lamar finally won a playoff game (seriously, 0-2 in the playoffs is not a drought Shame on You ) and the Bills have a long, long history of choking in the postseason. Buffalo wins by 5 after a last minute field goal and a safety on the ensuing Keystone Kops lateral fiasco.

Kansas City - Browns are The Little Engine That Could. Chiefs are that massive tank from the Ogre board game. The only time that Cleveland slows down KC is when they get stuck in the Chiefs treads on the way to the end zone. KC wins by two or more TD's.

Saints - Brees is looking forward to being in the broadcast booth next year and wants to finish his career on a high note. Tommy is trying to play for one year longer than Belichick coaches so he's fine waiting until next year. The streak of a home team never playing in a Super Bowl continues. Saints by 4.

There's almost always a road team or two that wins in this round but I just don't see it this year. (I might have just helped Chip win since he picked mostly road teams. Waiting )

Crunchbird once again was the top picker, getting all 4 games correct, for 40 points.
Howie and myself correctly picked 3 games (both missing the Tampa/New Orleans game), for 30 points.
lcfrick and bluedevil2002 each picked 2 games correct for 20 points.

crunchbird - 65 pts (25+40)
jbeeman85 - 45 pts (15+30)
lcfrick - 40 pts (20+20)
moonknight - 40 pts (10+30)
bluedevil2002 - 30 pts (20+10)

For the Super Bowl week, I figure we will have some incentive/bonus question opportunities like Howie had in previous competitions. I guess we could pretty much use the same questions from last year (just change the player names to fit this season's match-up).

The questions Howie used last year are on page two of the 2020 thread: http://www.comiccollectorlive.com/Forum/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=50906

If there is anyone opposed to the bonus questions, let me know.
