I got the new computer installed with a new curved monitor. It only took 12 hours to sync this time since I got the fastest internet available. Now everything appears in tiny font size and I can't find a magnifying glass or increase to 150% option or anything that will make the text appear larger and easier to read. Most of the buttons no longer have writing either.

While searching for a button or option, I eventually discovered the "DARK" setting for everything on the computer so now at least the white eye blinding look has been replaced.

I've gotten the size adjusted for old people eyes everywhere else except the mail and found the brightness adjustment to move it down to 30% so the computers almost ready with just the mail being annoying and CCL being a pain to do anything with , fortunately I know what most of the taps do from memory.

I can come in thru a web browser and everything looks fine, it's just working with the software thats screwed right now.

Your advertising banner thing is pushed way over to the right edge so maybe that's obscuring a button I need or something like that.

While we're waiting for CCL Tech Support to eventually show up, lets see if a larger curved monitor makes life readable. Expected Tuesday

Did you call or email or text Joe or Steve?

Just posting a problem here hoping somebody sees it won't get you any help from CCL Tech Support.

Of course not. It's one of my pet peeves that a "Help" forum provided for people to get "Help" should eventually get checked and "Help" provided. I can live with the problem until the new larger monitor arrives Tuesday. It's not like I'm planning to load anything new to a site that doesn't even take the time to check their "Help" section occasionally.

There's also a chance someone else ran across this problem and already knows the solution.

Sounds like a "Bug" to me meaning I'm in the right place to expect "Help".

When I first saw the title of this thread I thought it was a Spam post for an erectile dysfunction remedy.

Amazon's site says it's shipped and arriving Monday UPS instead of Tuesday. UPS sight says it's expected tomorrow!!!! https://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/processInputRequest?sort_by=status&error_carried=true&tracknums_displayed=1&TypeOfInquiryNumber=T&loc=en_us&InquiryNumber1=1z487a970308603201&AgreeToTermsAndConditions=yes&requester=ST/trackdetails

Tomorrow would be a great day to arrive instead of Monday mixed in the Marvel Comics from Penguin on the same truck.

Now both Amazon and UPS say delivery TODAY!!!!! Applause Dancing

There's still time for CCL's crackerjack staff to look in and identify a problem and offer a solution. I imagine at some point, they'll be sitting around a bathroom stall or such and get tired of playing Candy Crush or whatever and actually flip over to their message forum and help request area.

Any minute now, any minute. Waiting

For all you Rocky and Bullwinkle fans out there lets title the next portion of this wait for help as

"That's NOT BIGGER!!" or "How to feel stupid in 3 days or less"

Apparently getting bigger curved monitors only has the bigger part getting bigger left to right and not up and down at the same time.

The only advantages I see so far are more work space left to right and the larger base is pushing the monitor itself forward more so it's closer.

I also discovered the titles for Bundled Lots no longer show on the left bar in the software so getting bigger alone will not make things like they were.

Right-click the Comic Collector Live icon and choose Properties. Click the "Compatibility" tab. Click the button at the bottom labeled "Change high DPI settings". At the bottom of the next window click the box next to "Override high DPI scaling behavior", and choose "System" in the dropdown below. Click OK to exit, and OK to exit again. CCL should have a proper size now.

A lot of older programs need this sort of thing to appear at a proper size on higher-resolution monitors.

Thanks, that didn't do anything to the text size but now the titles of the ""Bundled Lots" and all the folder names suddenly appear like normal again. Big Grin
