Okay, hands up, whose a fan of Metal? It doesn't have to be a particular brand of metal. We're also not going to argue if Iron Maiden kicks more ass than Judas Priest. I just want to know who the CCL metal community is.

I think most everyone around here knows I'm a metal fan. I like most any metal from the 70s through today. The only exceptions being Death Metal and Rap-Metal mixtures like Limp Bizkit, Korn, and Rage Against the Machine. The last year or so I've been really getting into the European Black Metal scene. Children of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Blind Guardian, In Flames, all great Euro Metal bands; some of who's members are actually American! -Nate-

I used to be a big metal head. Not so much any more. I still listen to Iron Maiden from time to time, I saw them live too. It was a great gig  I still love System of a Down, one of my all time favourite bands. I could never stand KoRn though, or Slipknot or any of those bands. SOAD rocked though, oh my god they rocked so hard  I guess my tastes for metal are still here in what I listen to today. But I tend to listen to more post-hardcore, hardcore punk stuff now. Alexisonfire, Cancer Bats, The Gallows etc
