I was clicking around the New York Comic con site today thinking about ordering tickets for one day or the whole weekend. The tickets go up after April 30 from 45 to 50 for the weekend. At the page where you enter all your info, name, address, etc there's a line for a Priority Code.

I'm a cheap bastich I'll admit it Big Grin does anyone know a Code for a discount? I know chances are slim but I thought I'd give it a try, maybe someone out there can help a brother out...

Thanks
Dave H

When I saw your post I looked to see when the show is. Dude, it's not till October. Actually what has me concerned is the following:

NY Comic Con Oct. 8-10 Javits Center, NYC
NY Big Apple Comic Con (Wizard) Oct. 7-10 Pier 94, NYC
NJ Comic Con (Wizard) Oct. 15-17 NJ Convention & Expo Center, Edison

Three major shows within one week of each other (two the same weekend) and within about a half hour drive. To me these have all the makings of bad shows, especially the two NY shows since they are on the same days. The NJ show has a chance to be real good since it can draw dealers and guests from both the NY shows. Of course only time will tell, but for a $5.00 savings I think you're better off waiting closer to show time and then deciding which show is the better one to go to.

The following stores are all stores that I've dealt with or have become friends with through the forums and I highly recommend them all.
Comics Castle-owned & operated by Pat McCauslin
Alpha Comics--ComicVortex--Metropolis Connections 2.0--Comic Cellar

I already know which is the better show to go to, anything with Wizard in the name isn't a competitor to the NYCC
