I was sent an electronic coupon earlier this week from Half Price Books. So I decided to swing by one of our local shops to use it. While going through the $1 comics, I wasn't sure whether to jump up & down like a Price Is Right showcase contestant winner or take the comic and run . . . but I was able to get the following for just one buck each . . . Classic X-Men: #1 (VF+) $1.00 Uncanny X-Men: #266 (1981, First Gambit, VF+) $1.00 Thanks Santa, I have finished peeing my pants!

Sold comics in bundles of 5 for a buck. You could only ever see the front book, and the rest was luck. Scored the first gambit this way. I was so happy. Also first jubilee. Now they speed selling the bundles. Cave Comics- Quick and safe shipping. - All comics bagged and boarded. - Always adding new items. - Free shipping on all orders over $25.00

Nice snags Kingsman! I've been sorting through a recent purchase & found something pretty neat, Jughead 58 from 1962, pretty boring at first glance until I realized there's 1 page of art by none other than Neal Adams! I had no clue he went back that far. I guess he got his start with Archies in 1960. I poked around & couldn't find anyone else with a copy, I found ONE copy on Ebay that sold for $23.95 in VG- which is about what this is, maybe a tick higher. Guide is like $12, good example of why I don't trust Overstreet anymore. Anyway, here's the book.
*ALSO* top rated plus with all 5.0's as ideaman33

Just got in Spectacular Spiderman #127 signed by Stan Lee with DF COA #1 of 1 Woot Woot
I got package in yesterday but waited until today to open since I didnt know what comic it was besides being signed by Stan Lee. So awesomeness that it was an early spidey and #1 COA.
Would have put up scan but wife is looking at me crazy right now, something to do with it being xmas, lol.

That sounds crazy good! You didn't know what issue it was--was it a gift? I've never heard of a DF 1/1 edition. How often do they produce these?

Was actually from DF. I had an order about 6 months ago that got damaged and this was the replacement. So I knew it was a Spiderman comic and was signed by Stan Lee, but not which issue or what # COA. I know they put out a few 1/1 COAs every once in a while but not very often. Last one I saw was a marvel tales signed by Stan Lee.
