I'm off tonight and very bored so I thought I'd start a poll on who should lead the X-Men. I'm not even sure how many mutant teams there are these days but who should be in the leader of the main X-Men team? Feel free to add one if your choice is not on the list.

Marvel: All New X-Men, Avengers, New Avengers, Uncanny Avengers, Uncanny X-Men, Superior Spiderman, Indestructible Hulk, Thor: God of Thunder, Guardians of the Galaxy.
DC: Aquaman, Batman, Batman: The Dark Knight, Detective Comics, Earth 2, Green Lantern, Justice League, Justice League of America, Savage Hawkman, Superman.

After that, it spreads into the next X-Crossover Event when Magneto goes all super-villain and the real X-Men/X-Teams have to fight his corrupted X-Men.

Wolverine should never be a leader of anything. I like him being the rogue member of the X-Men. Storm is an okay lead but still no Cyclops. Magneto would be an interesting leade. He's one of the most powerful mutants around and his experience brings a lot to the team. Still, I think he's too undecided about himself. Doesn't he flip flop when it comes to being a hero or villain?

I say Magneto or Cyclops. wolverine would be a good last pick to do the job but i also like the idea of them having a woman leader like Emma Frost,Storm,or Jean Gray aka Phoenix. but if your dead set on someone with brains Professor Xavier or Beast or Magneto again

I'm going in left feild and say... Cable. Wake him up, no techno virus, powers at max, best tacticion, knows what the X-men need to survive in the days to come; he would be an awsome lead. Second in command, 'Red' of course. Great poll BTW. (I love polls)

Wolverine regardless of how good his X-book is or what Marvel tries to say is a good hearted soldier. Everyone that's not mainstream pops in and out of comic book time. At least with Cable it has a reason and explanation. I did say I was reaching. I didn't see any clear cut choices on that list. Who is your pick Street? Hulk wouldn't be a bad choice.

Did't cyclops and Emma led the New X-Men at one time in the comic series call the New X-men ?
