I've never seen Beast as the leader type. Like Shizz pointed out, always in the lab. But he's also pretty self-conscious, which usually doesn't make a very confident leader.

what about gambit or jean  ? what makes a good leader for a team like the x-men what am i looking for in the person i want to lead  ? this would be easy for me if was DC
