It isnt a knee jerk reaction but if this title is called anything but Amazing I'm done with it.I havent been enthralled with this book for awhile but still bought it because I didnt wanna break my run.Marvel may have just saved me the trouble.

Don't worry, whatever title they give it, after 99 issues they'll start the renumbering with #800.

My Pull List
Marvel: All New X-Men, Avengers, New Avengers, Uncanny Avengers, Uncanny X-Men, Superior Spiderman, Indestructible Hulk, Thor: God of Thunder, Guardians of the Galaxy.
DC: Aquaman, Batman, Batman: The Dark Knight, Detective Comics, Earth 2, Green Lantern, Justice League, Justice League of America, Savage Hawkman, Superman.

This is a shame. Do they really make more money by "canceling" a series and re-numbering it at #1?

Well now that just pisses me off cuase I am tired of having so many relaunches. I cannot imagine the sales of the book are hurting that much but whatever it is just another excuse to have 50 variants.

Nice jumping on point for new readers, or people hope it'll be a hot series and buy the #1 to try and sell it on eBay when it gets hot. ***CHECK OUT MY COMIC TRADING LIST, CLICK HERE******TRADE VIDEO GAMES WITH ME, CLICK HERE******TRADE COMIC CARDS WITH ME, CLICK HERE***Make sure that you read and understand the forum rules here

I've always liked books with high numbers. Its a sign it has some staying power. It has history! A high issue number never detered me from starting to collect a new series. Back in the day, hitting issue 100 was like a badge of pride. Nowadays, its feared to hit issue 50!

What ever they are doing in issue #700 Dan Slot has stated he will probably have to go into hiding. There are theories running about all over the place as to why this would be. Mostly having to do with what Doc Oc's last act of vengeance will be. Will he just let is slip that Peter Parker is Spider-Man? Will he do something more evil? Don't know and don't care at this point. All I know is I will have one less Marvel tittle on my pull list. The one theory I have seen a couple of places is that Doc Oc is going to find a way to attach his metal arms permanently to Spider-Man. Ruining his life in oh so many ways.... If that is true I may just never read another Spider-Man book again...ever.

You guys know the new Ultimate Spider-Man, Miles Morales? Well the last panel in the last issue of "Spider-Men" seemed to hint that something is gonna go down soon with the mainstream Marvel universe version of Miles Morales (who we haven't seen yet). It wasn't anything concrete, just some vague foreshadowing, so don't quote me here. ***CHECK OUT MY COMIC TRADING LIST, CLICK HERE******TRADE VIDEO GAMES WITH ME, CLICK HERE******TRADE COMIC CARDS WITH ME, CLICK HERE***Make sure that you read and understand the forum rules here

Like most, I'm not happy about the renumbering. Although, my wallet will be happy if ASM finally goes back to once a month.
