I hadn't seen a spot on this site that had an exhaustive listing of the new Marvel: Now initiative. So, I thought this post could be a place to check out the new #1s and their creative teams. And, I've listed the titles that, for now, are continuing with their current numbering and story lines. Marvel: Now! I am giving Uncanny Avengers a chance but I didn't care for the first issue so I'm not sure how long that one will be on my list. The only titles I will be getting so far this November is Fantastic Four and All New X-Men. I'm not impressed at all with this Marvel Now junk.
My Pull List
Marvel: All New X-Men, Avengers, New Avengers, Uncanny Avengers, Uncanny X-Men, Superior Spiderman, Indestructible Hulk, Thor: God of Thunder, Guardians of the Galaxy.
DC: Aquaman, Batman, Batman: The Dark Knight, Detective Comics, Earth 2, Green Lantern, Justice League, Justice League of America, Savage Hawkman, Superman.
Dark Horse: Star Wars

Did anyone pick up the free Marvel Now! preview mag? It had about 5 pages from each of the following:
FF Iron Man All-new X-Men Captain America Indestructible Hulk Thor God of Thunder Deadpool X-Men Legacy Avengers Assemble Red She-Hulk
I guess the book I'm looking most forward to reading based on creative team is Captain America though the Thor premise sounds pretty interesting.
Big signatures are REALLY annoying.

The only one that I may give a shot is Indestructible Hulk. I really enjoy Mark Waid as a writer and Leinil Francis Yu art was good in Superior so I would like to see his art with the Hulk. I usually stay away from the big two except for some Vertigo and Icon titles or an occasionally mini-series.

The only book that I'm looking forward to is Cable & X-force. I'm looking at this as a way to save some money here. My pull list is looking like this:
Cable & X-Force Uncanny X-Force (dropping this after Remender leaves) X-Factor Wolverine & the X-Men
I'm trying All New X-men but I have low expectations.
Will be focusing more on back issues here on CCL as well.

With the entire Avengers vs X-Men primarily showing of Hope Summers, am I the only one who thinks it is weird she didn't get a book out of all of this? She was the focal point of the series and probably could have gotten her a book and a following. I could understand if it was in Young Avengers or something.

If you are referring to Generation Hope.. then ya.. that was pretty bad. I'd be surprised if we ever see those characters in anything other then the background.

Looking forward to deadpool and cable & x-force. I'm not sure about the new uncanny x-force that is coming out. Anybody have any thoughts on this book or any others that I should avoid?

More Marvel: Now! News in the last few days. Two new titles were announced Niether Uncanny Avengers or All-New X-Men were replacements for the recently cancelled iteration of Uncanny X-Men. Bendis and Bachalo are teaming up to renew this tite in February 2013. This also means that Bachalo will be leaving Aaron's run on Wolverine & the X-Men. CBR - Uncanny X-Men A new Defenders series titled Fearless Defenders debuts in February under writer, Cullen Bunn, and artist Will Sliney. The team-book is focused on Valkyrie and Misty Knight. Helpful, thanks. But I am sorely disheartened by some of the talent: Bendis I have no real love for, and my take on Bagley 'round these parts is legendary. Don't know what to do about that, skip the first 6 issues of my second fav title? Who knows, perhaps he's taken some art lessons.
