Just watched the Barret-Jackson auto auction. They had the original batmobile and it sold for 4.2 million dollars!!!

I read an article about it that said on top of that, the guy who won the auction has to pay an additional $400K+ in premiums. What's that mean, insurance?

It goes to the auction house. They get a percentage from both the seller & the buyer. It's a nice racket if you can get it.
