for 3 comics? Way too high. PRIORITY MAIL should be abut 6 bucks for them. Standard postage for 3 is about $3.00, and Medial Mail about $2.83. Join the store on FACEBOOK! * All items must be returned prior to refund at your expense. Return shipping not refunded.

That's what I figured. Should I contact this guy about it? Its on the auction site and I know how this kinda stuff riles people on there up. But for 3 books? Sellers!!!! You need more Tmnt books so I don't have to use eBay!

As long as they are pretty standard size (32 pages total each), you can very securely pack 3 comics and come in under the 13oz maximum for standard First Class shipping (which is around $3).

If you are getting books from Ebay I would make sure you take note of what the packages says it costs for shipping when it arrives. I have noticed that sellers on Ebay jack up their shipping costs to make extra money. If it shows up and they charged you 10 bucks for shipping but the package says it only cost 6 bucks then you can go to ebay about that.

When thye do that, try taking the package to your local PO and asking if they can scan the bar code and tell you how much the shipping cost. You don't even have to go to the post office. You can just get the weight off of the package and then go to USPS.com to calculate a shipping price. 3 books should weigh around 12oz depending on how they are packaged. It's $3.60 to ship a 12oz package first class and 5.85 to ship it priority. Add in a buck or so for packaging and you are looking at $5-$7 depending on how they ship the package. I have seen some sellers get lazy and ship everything in a medium flat rate box. They do this because it is free for them to get and they don't have to get burned on shipping costs. Because, believe me, it is very easy to burn yourself on shipping costs as a seller. Especially when you figure in the fact that ebay AND paypal take a cut from whatever the seller charges for shipping, cost of packaging materials, etc. But, other than the seller shipping your order in a flat rate box, $10.00 for shipping 3 books does sound like a little too much. But not by as much as you may think.
Free shipping is available on ANY order $40.00 and above. No minimum books necessary. Whether it's 1 book or 100 books. If it's $40.00 or more, it ships FREE! Also, if you buy 10 or more $1.00 books, all the $1.00 books are 25% off. Effectively making them $.75 books! I've got hundreds of them! Come take a look!
