Ok, so I know what is going on with Superior Spider-man, and that Doc Ock's body died in ASM 700. However I am sitting here reading a 3 Issue series called the Buzz from 2000 and the last issue has Doc Ock in it and it mentions that his body is "rotting from cancer", The problem is I have no idea what happened in between, did they string Doc Ock's cancer/death along for 13 years or did he somehow recover between then and the recent Superior stuff?

During those 13 years how much did Spider-Man age? Comic time and real time aren't close to being the same. In 50 real years Peter has only aged about 7 years tops.
The following stores are all stores that I've dealt with or have become friends with through the forums and I highly recommend them all.

That's a good point, I didn't think of it that way.

Buzz was an MC2 mini-series, meaning it took place in the possible future that Spider-Girl lives in. Whatever happened in that book has absolutely nothing to do with current (or past) continuity in the Marvel Universe. Frankly, it's just a huge coincidence that the writers for Buzz made Doc Ock's fate be cancer.

Yeah that was an MC2 title, so it really had nothing to do w/ the 616. However in the 616 Doc Ock's body was 'rotting' because he basically had a vicious form of "Dementia pugilistica" from repeated ass-kickings he received from Spidey.

i remember in the 90's during the clone saga they kept saying it was only 5 years since he became spider-man or since he fought the clone in the 70's.

You know what is funny about comic time vs real time? Could you imagine being the average person in New York and every 2-3 weeks having to deal with a Major Villian Event? Or being the average person in the DC Universe and having reality change every few months?
