Just downloaded the app for my Galaxy and although it's really useful for keeping up to date on new titles, it'd be nice to be able to sync it with the database to be able to see my collection and what I'm missing. Any news on this front?

I should know more when the new site is published. Once CCL updates the web services I'll be able to add this feature to the apps.

The most recent info from CCL on the impending system/site update indicated that the new site will be "very mobile friendly" - I kinda got the impression that a stand-alone app would be a thing of the past?

Mobile is all about apps. They likely mean there wont be a need to use the webpage at all from your mobile device anymore. (Fingers Crossed)

Lot of updates are coming. We are pushing to get the first one up before Christmas. After these updates we will be adding services that will allow developers to provide access to your collection through apps. Sometime during the 1st quarter.

Hey Joe. It's past Christmas and Q1 2016. Any updates on the app?

I'm not sure why they even mention this anymore... The App isn't supported from what I was told.

I'm just checking back today to see if *maybe* anything has changed with CCL but this irks me. They still charge for it on the Android market knowing it's doesn't work.

Hey sorry it irks you. I'm limited by the web services as to what I can do with the app. It irks me a bit that the owners son comes on here and says the new site design makes the app unnecessary. So I doubt I'll ever be able to do what I wanted to do with it. As far as still charging for it, I put a lot of time into developing it and I'd like to be paid. I'm an independent developer that wasn't paid by CCL to develop it. I did it in my own free time. Personally I still find value in it for the wishlist and new releases though.

I didn't realize that you developed the app independently and weren't paid for it. I just wanted to say thanks. It's saved my kiester on a number of occasions! I really do hope you do get the opportunity to do with it what you'd like.
