We've still got a little ways to go until the finals, but I wanted to post a couple of notes that aren't covered in the rules, just in case it impacts anyone's stratgy.
Finals - Finals begin when we are down to the last 2 managers, regardless of the number of fighters they have left.
Final Fight - The fight that eliminates one of the last two managers, leaving the remaining manager the tournament winner.
Environments - Fight environments for the Finals will be assigned by the game mods. Managers will not be able to use an Environment Card to change the environment.
Two Point Conversion Card - You may not use a Two Point Conversion Card to force a tie or gain a win in the Final Fight of the tournament. For example:
- Jim has 2 fighters left and Jane has 1 fighter left. If Jim is behind by 1 or points in the fight he cannot use a 2 point card to force a tie and a win. On the other hand, Jane could use a 2 point card to get the win and force another fight, but NOT to force a tie.
- Jim and Jane are both down to their last fighters, neither can use the 2 point card to force a tie or win.
Tie Score - In the case of a tie in the Final Fight, the game mods WILL NOT select the tournament winner. A new environment will be selected and the managers will fight another round. The new fight will post 24 hours after the end of the previous fight. This will continue until a winner is decided by vote. If either manager has more than one fighter left, tournament rotation rules remain in effect.
