Just watched the pilot tonight. I liked it. Has a lot of intrigue and it was pretty violent. This is not a Green Arrow with arrows that have boxing gloves come out and knock out the bad guy. Which makes sense, you can't have a hero with a bow and not have him kill anyone and have it be believable. I just hope he's at some point called "Green Arrow" and not some nickname like "Green Hoodie", just "Arrow" or like Superman was just known as "The Blur" on Smallville. I'll be keeping this on my DVR for now though.

I just don't know what to think about this show. It seems to have a good deal of focus on soap-opera like drama between past lovers and family members and such. But it seems as soon as I decide I've had enough of that crap, the action kicks in and it's pretty damn good for a network T.V. show. And the pilot episode was pretty good all the way through. Don't know how much longer I'm gonna hold on, but for now I'm still giving it a chance. I just hope there's a bigger focus on action or a big storyline in the works. ***CHECK OUT MY COMIC TRADING LIST, CLICK HERE******TRADE VIDEO GAMES WITH ME, CLICK HERE******TRADE COMIC CARDS WITH ME, CLICK HERE***Make sure that you read and understand the forum rules here

I think you're all underselling this show a little. If I had to use one word to describe this program, it would be intrigue. I don't mind the soapy elements, since there seems to be a hook for every event that nags at me to continue watching. Like Lost or the X-Files. Not to say it is as good as these shows at this point, but it has a lot of heart. The only real crack in the wall is that the Green Arrow I know (admittedly I have been apart from the character since Mike Grell left the book) wasn't a killer, just a good shot. Still, it is modern day television, and I can accept it. And yes, the fighting sequences are well choreographed. Production values are mighty high considering it's a CW series. I never cared for Smallville, but for a DC show, this one has my attention. I suppose I am most impressed that, for a show that I didn't really expect much deliverance, I really enjoyed it. I hope it lasts, bucking the usual traditions. "We make a pretty good team, even if we don't work together." - My son We put the "RP" into RPG!www.neverdarklands.net

Did not like the latest episode. I like Deadshot. They did not handle his character well at all.

I think they did Deadshot very poorly and in the last episode with Deathstoke they made him with two eyes I hope they plan on him looseing one. Other then that I would give the show so far a 7.5 out of 10.
