Any of you watch Ultimate Spiderman? I just started watching it the other day on Netflix. I hated it at first because of the kiddie crap it has like the lame cut aways and Spiderman talking to the camera. After a few episodes, I started to like it. Even found it somewhat humorous and interesting. I would like it more if it was a bit more serious and less comical but its not bad. Not sure why Luke Cage is in high school because I thought he was a lot older than Parker. I also dont like Spiderman's connection to SHIELD. I think Spidey is better solo with the occasional team ups than he is working for Nick Fury. So, what do you all think of this show?

Unfortunately, I think this show is pretty horrible.
In fact, unwatchable. I keep trying, because I'm a comic nutbag...but I just can't make myself sit through an entire episode.
Especially considering that almost all recent comic cartoons are really good, this show is highly dissapointing.

I really enjoyed Ultimate Spider-Man comics so when I heard they were making an animated series based on it I was excited. This show is NOTHING like the Ultimate Spider-Man series. I haven't disliked a Spider-Man cartoon this much since Spider-Man Unlimited. But I tried to give the show a chance and watched a good portion of the first season but I just couldn't take it anymore. Spider-Man is not goofy 100% of the time which this show is. And I feel like the movies show Spider-Man more angst ridden most of the time than anything else. Where's the happy medium?
