The very first Atari Spider Man game always holds a place in my heart.

Loved swinging up that building!

X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse for SNES was a 2D brawling masterpiece by Capcom:

X-Men Arcade was pretty awesome, especially on the giganto dual screen machines

Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

I laughed out loud the first time I picked up a cow & was using it to slam soldiers. In one mini-game there are soldiers dropping out of a chopper & you use a lightpost as a bat to see how far you can hit them out into the ocean. Pure ridiculous fun.

The Darkness. An underated FPS with a supernatural twist to it and even a bit of noir flair to it since you're fighting with and against the mafia.

^ Great pick!

Batman: The Video Game for NES

This is one of the better games on the NES. Excellent gameplay, great controls, quite challenging, and some of the coolest NES music ever. Plus it definitely retained the dark style of the Tim Burton movie, despite not following the storyline, really.

What a freaking hard game! Loved it though.. I think the furthest I ever got was into the Tower. I figured that I was really close to the end, but I guess I'll never know... This game desperately needed the "Zelda" save feature.

My favorite was Freedom Force

What was great about it was that there were a ton of (unofficial) sites that you could download mods and skins from which enabled you to play the game as your favorite Marvel and DC characters.

ComicVortex

Current specials:

Get 30% Off Select Comics
For every comic you purchase from our 'Bargain Bin' (those priced $1 or less), another comic purchased over $1 will be $30% off (refunded via PayPal). eg. If you purchase 10 'Bargain Bin' books, then 10 books purchased that are each over $1 will recieve this refund, etc.

An awesome beat-em up arcade game that unfortunately has never been ported to a home console or network.

The X-Men arcade game was pretty awesome.

The Punisher on the PS2 was probably one of the best home games I've ever played.

The worst has to be the first X-Men game for the NES.

Just a completely horrible game.

The only super-hero game that's worse is Superman 64.
