Beta Ray Bill can create small portals with Stormbreaker. Its conceivable that Bill could easily transport bystanders to a safer place inside the dome.

I'm still split but the thing that has me leaning toward storm is
Storm with Tarenes hammer has a bad attitude towards humans.
Where Bill would try to save them

Again, its easy for Bill to shield the humans IF need be. He can also transport them away from harm. Beta Ray's speed is something for Storm to worry about. She doesn't have much defense against someone who can fly at the speed of light.

Just asking since his hammer gives him speed wouldn't her hammer do the same thing?
Also wouldn't her hammer give her a shield also?
To me with both of them having hammers they are the same.
The question would be who can find that one opening first

The question would be who can find that one opening first This is true, but Bill has the natural stregth and resistance to withstand the energies he is wielding and the effects of super speed. Storm would be less able to do this.

I think Beta Ray Bill's super strength is greater than Storms. We've seen what Bill's strength can do and we haven't seen that from Storm. Bill's cybernetics also is an advantage in this fight.

Give me if I'm wrong but
When Storm picked up the hammer, She gained access to divine power, much like the power of Thor.
Also if I remember right the 2nd time she got the hammer she got into a fight with Thor & ended up taking his hammer so she could destroy hers.
So I don't think she is as weak as people are making her out to be.
I'm still on the fence because this fight could go either way

The way I see this: -They both have a crazy powerful mystical hammer -They both can control the weather and wield lightning, however Storm is more adept at is as she can control it both naturally (mutant power) and through her hammer. -Beta Ray Bill has natural-born super-strength and durability that Storm can't come close too. Storm is a mutant with a mystical hammer, she's not a god and doesn't have the strength and durability of a god. So which is a better advantage? Super-strength & durability, or extra weather-control powers? Personally I'd say the super-strength & durability. With that, Bill can take a licking and keep on ticking. Storm, on the other hand, is gonna go down a lot faster without that advantage. +1 Beta Ray Bill

Well, Bill is a bit more vicious in battle than Thor is. Bill has beaten Thor in the past AND taken possesion of Mjolnir so saying Storm beat Thor doesn't mean much since Beta Ray Bill has done the same thing.

With Bill being able to stay in a fight for 4 days before getting tired, his super durability, speed, and experience as a cosmic warrior...Bill wins this battle. Being able to take massive impacts at point blank range without a scratch is pretty impressive. No way Storm can endure the kind of attacks Beta Ray would use against her.

As it should.This would be an actual earth trembling match up if it happened in the comics and both fighters went full force.One things for sure the dome would be blown to Saturn. It looks like Doc has proven his fighter to quite a few voters since I was on earlier.Unless something drastic happens it looks like Bill is running away with this one.Of course I'm not admitting defeat just yet.Just wish I could come up with a great rationale on how Storm wins this thing.

WOW! Can't believe I pulled it off. Fought some great managers and characters in this tourney and I hope they come back in the next SHS. Thanks to UK for putting up some great fights and being a good sport. Its funny that my first match was against UK with John Stewart vs. Raven and now it ends with UK. Pretty cool how that worked out. Being down 0-3 made me think it was over. I'm glad I could convince enough voters to get Bill all the way through. Beta Ray is one tough cookie! Thanks to everyone involved for making Superhero Showdown 1 a lot of fun!
