Lack of UK price on the cover, brighter red ink, different advertising inside 2nd printing included in the indica. Are all the 30th Anniversary one's 2nd printing? A variant has Campbells soup advertising on the inside cover. Bamf!!! Photobucket Pages

I'm pretty sure I bought several 30th anniversary logo issues brand new at my shop when they came out, so I don't think they're all second printing. But this one definitely is. Good catch.

The 30th Anniversary edition is from the JCPenney/Sears reprint packs. Some of these are in the database, some are not. There is a similiar copy for Daredevil #273 in the database, so check it out for reference. Basically, back in the 1992 & 1993, Sears and JCPenney offered packs of "Vintage" Marvel comics through their catalogs. They were actually packs of 20 individual issues, all new reprints. These are often referred to as the "Stridex Reprints", due to the Stridex ad on the back.
Also, I'm a big Daredevil collector. So I would be interested in this.

I stand corrected. Here's the full list (if we're missing any, speak up): http://www.comiccollectorlive.com/LiveData/StoryArc.aspx?id=74db9b57-20a2-44b1-bd28-c15bede3ea8e

If you want it it's yours, I'll set it aside for you since it's already scanned. I actually didn't notice until last second. I was already in the process of trying to figure out if the lack of UK Price was enough of a difference for inclusion when I noticed the color difference, the advertising difference and then the second printing part in the indica. I know I've seen lots of 30th Anniversary boxes around. I'll start checking them as they show up from now on. I found a pricing error on Daredevil/Shi A variant just now also as I was checking out a Newsstand Edition. I've got 5 Direct Editions all priced $2.95 as the cover scan of A already shows. Only the 1 Price variant/Newsstand edition so far. Bamf!!! Photobucket Pages

Just found a New Warriors 10 in the private collection that's a second printing also. Now I'm seeing swinging spiders everywhere like the Darkhold 3 issues. I'll keep checking them as I find them to make sure we haven't missed any. Bamf!!! Photobucket Pages

I think the color difference is just a matter of care/condition (or lack thereof). It doesn't matter if it's 50 Cents or 50 Dollars - if you list it as NM it better be NM.Xylob's Most Wanted: G.I.Joe Special Missions TPB 2 Tales from the Transformers Beast Wars: Critical Mass Transformers: Timelines #3 - either cover, no preference. Problems with CCL? 615-264-4747 Offices are open M-F 8am-5pm Central Time. You can also e-mail the Chief Brand Officer directly to try to resolve questions/stuff at steve@golocomedia.com for help with password resets, general customer service questions, store order resolution, credit card store updating, questions about comic books and CCL, etc...

While I'm confussing myself all over again in the letter D today, Dreadstar (1982) at issue #27 changes publishers from Epic to First which can be seen clearly in the database scans and in the indica. Did Epic change it's name at that point or was the title passed on to First which in it's logo art is claiming to be celebrating a 5 year anniversary by issue #34. Bamf!!! Photobucket Pages

When does it get changed in the issues or do we need to submit a change for each issue individually? I just looked at 27 again and all it lists is Jim Starlin but still shows the old publisher. If you want I'll go through and submit something for each one if it makes it easy. Just let me know what you prefer so I can get it right on the first try. I thought Tamwood had a magic button thing that he was able to change publishers on one of those Archie series that changed from Archie to something totally unArchilike all at once. Bamf!!! Right now, if the publisher on a series of issues is incorrect, the only fix is to submit individual change requests to correct it. I must have fixed thousands of issues in series like this one, that predate the ability to have different publishers on different issues. :)

I'll see what I can do to help. I think someone beat me to it. It displays in the database as Epic for publisher but when you click the change button it shows First. I ran the update which didn't help so maybe a complete restart will do it. Bamf!!! Photobucket Pages

I think you're seeing a known issue in the software - the software only recognizes the title publisher and doesn't understand the issue publisher field, which was added to the database after the last update to the software.

That will allow Mac users to finally be able to maintain a collection as there is no Mac version of the software. No one (from CCL) has said the desktop software is going away. It sure could use some updates though.
