Had to go with "Like it". It isn't the BEST story, but it was good. Still can't wait to see where Slott goes with it.

I went with bad but give it a shot, I suppose I should expect such crap from time to time and overlook it.
Big signatures are REALLY annoying.

I think it's an incredibly stupid move. Doctor Octopus has lost his appeal as a villain as time has not been kind to him. He may have been a threat in the 60s, but when's the last time he's been relevant? What makes Marvel think that he'd make a good starring role in a comic book? I just hope Peter returns to the webs sooner rather than later. ***CHECK OUT MY COMIC TRADING LIST, CLICK HERE******TRADE VIDEO GAMES WITH ME, CLICK HERE******TRADE COMIC CARDS WITH ME, CLICK HERE***Make sure that you read and understand the forum rules here

I sort of liked it, knowing that it could also be reversed at any time. But I'm intrigued to see how this develops.

I havent read the issue yet but I havent cared for Amazing Spider-Man since Back in Black story line.Of course I've bought every issue because I really like the character but I now question my sanity for carrying on as long as I have.

I'm not happy with the move but I'll give it a shot... I had my moment of doubt back in the 90's & learned that it all works out in the end.

I definitely voted "liked it". I think it's an interesting twist, and a nice change to the usual.
We already know it'll be reversed. Just the question is "When".
I think it was decently done, and leaves a lot of room for NEW stories.

Still not sure how I feel but it does seem interesting kind of looking forward to see what The Superior Spider Man does.

Did anybody catch the last page of Daredevil #21 (which came out several weeks ago)? Seems Marvel slipped us the new Spidey's first appearance there and we didn't even know it. From the teaser, it looks like he's gonna kick Daredevil's butt in the next issue in an effort to solidify his new aggressive "Superior" status in the MU.

My first reaction was to vote for Hate it. Worst move ever., but then saw Couldn't care less. Give me the new 52. and voted that way. Actual opinion would be a combination of Hate it and will stick to New 52, pretty much what I've been reading lately as Marvel has let me down on all counts.

Marvel Universe = House of Everyone Else's Ideas. I love Dan Slott. This one seems forced, not him at his best. Maybe we can exchange the 'Superior' adjective for 'Unexciting'...
