Any readers of Witchblade? I recently bought the Witchblade: Compendium Volume 1. I'm really enjoying the comic, but I just figured that I don't like reading from a very heavy book. The spine is completely bent.
The compendium ends at issue #50. Rather than buy another cumbersome Compendium Volume 2, does anyone know the trade paperback titles or the story arc that contains issues #51-79? I'm sticking to TPB from now on.
Thanks.

Sorry I can't help you out on this one. Hopefully someone else can. All I know is there are SO many different TPB lines for Witchblade (and Darkness) that they can be extremely confusing to figure out.

Did some research and unfortunately I think you are gonna have to get compendium vol 2. It appears that a trade paperback was never released or is no longer available for issues #40-#79. Individual trades are available starting again with issue #80 when Ron Martz took over as writer for the series.

Yeah, seems like Compendium is the only way to get #51-53 and #59-79.
Between Vol 3 and Vol 10, there are collections of mini-series making up Volumes 5 & 6. Blood Relations (below) is Vol 7 and there may never have been an actual Vol 8 or 9.
#1-8: Witchblade Origins Vol 1 #9-17: Witchblade Origins Vol 2, Witchblade: Revelations #18-25: Witchblade Origins Vol 3, Witchblade/Darkness: Family Ties (#18-19), Witchblade: Prevailing (#20-25)
#54-58: Witchblade Blood Relations
#80-85: Witchblade Vol 10: Witch Hunt, Witchblade (2008) Vol 1 #86-92: Witchblade Vol 11: Awakenings, Witchblade (2008) Vol 2 #93-100: Witchblade (2008) Vol 3 #101-109: Witchblade (2008) Vol 4 #110-115 & First Born #1-3: Witchblade (2008) Vol 5 #116-120: Witchblade (2008) Vol 6 #121-124 & Annual #1: Witchblade (2008) Vol 7 #125-130: Witchblade (2008) Vol 8 #131-135: Witchblade: Redemption Vol 1 #136-139: Witchblade: Redemption Vol 2 #140-144: Witchblade: Redemption Vol 3 #145-150: Witchblade: Redemption Vol 4 #151-155: Witchblade: Rebirth Vol 1 #156-160: Witchblade: Rebirth Vol 2

If I skip the Compendium Vol. 2 and just go straight to the Ron Marz stories (starting at #80) I'm not going to be missing any major plot line, will I?
And thanks for all the replies and help.
