I have a bunch of those Wham-os from 1967, known for being the world's largest comic, and so today I sold one. I check out the invoice & it was bought by Nicolas Cage? Normally I'd think it's a coincidence except I know he's into comics, also unusual it's shipping to some girl named Alice in Las Vegas. Anybody else ever sold to him? It one of those situations where you want to tell someone but there aren't many people who give a hoot, lol. I'll have to send a quick message when I ship & find out if it's him.

Damn, I just googled her name, she is in fact his wife. Cool I've got a story to tell!

How many do you have? I have one, but wouldn't mind getting more if the price was right. They could make a nice gift for a comic collector.

The following stores are all stores that I've dealt with or have become friends with through the forums and I highly recommend them all.

I thought he auctioned off his collection. I guess once a collector, always a collector.

I remember when he sold his Action 1, having a home in Vegas did wonders for him I'm sure. This is the actual copy, $37.95 + shipping, this one's pretty creamy, I offered a nicer copy at no extra charge, curious to see if he responds. If someone wants one let me know, I'll list a couple & they'll be a bit cheaper, has to go priority though, 2 lbs. I use 1.5 or 2 inch blueboard insulation for backing. As far as I can tell they are unsold distributor copies, most are still in the original cases of 24 & hardly have any reading wear although most have at least a little tanning.

Cool Story man. The closest I came was that I sold a sunspot heroclix to the guy who did his voice for the cartoons. lol

If all you have is a hammer, then everything looks like a nail.

It's funny, I checked the feedback to see other cool stuff he'd bought like Amazing Spidey 1 or something - instead it was a mix of movies, baby stuff & very expensive shot glass sets, like $500. I wonder if it was his wife buying him a present or something. No response on my message yet.

Our store sold something to one of Kevin Smith's idiot, brown-nosing friends. They have a photocopy of the money order on display. LOL.
