OK, So I found this at a yard sale today and can't find one on google or Ebay anywhere. This stands about a foot tall. It's not plastic but it is solid, however, I feel if I drop it, it would shatter into a million pieces. I posted a HTML code up top for a picture, and I was wondering if anybody on here might know more information on this as to how old it might be or if they have ever seen another one like it?

Shop at My Store
That looks pretty cool. Are there any marking on the bottom of the base? If not, I'd be willing to guess it might be home made. Here's a direct pic for everyone to see:

This is the Thing vinyl model kit from the 90's.

Although the one you have imaged looks kind of odd. I've owned one and I know they are hollow so one of two things has occurred; either someone made a cast of the kit and created their own solid version or they filled the kit with plaster to give it weight.

The kits I put together all had plaster in the feet in order to keep them from tipping over.

I just looked at the model kit and this may be the vinyl model kit. There are no markings on the bottom. Thanks for all your help.
