This has probably been done before, but I wanted to set up a post for those of you who are artists to share your original art, and for those of you who are art lovers (like me) to enjoy and comment.

I am not an artist, but I introduced comics to my son Chance when he was very young. He gets some heat here on the forums for being a kid, but this kid has talent.

Pretty sure him getting heat here is because he's a kid who's heavy into the operation of a business, with an attitude towards the community. Nothing about his art skills.

That being said, that's actually really good.

I buy comics so that I can sell comics, to buy more comics.

That's amazing Joe! It looks as if it could have been done by Alex Ross, no exaggeration.

Chance doesn't like me posting his art, but I know that the people here love comics, and they love good art so here is another one. Would love to see others.

I'll start making prints of my art to sell in the store and at shows soon. I would sell the original canvas to you once I made prints.

Also, might as well show the finished version if my arts gonna be up here.

Sorry to bump a thread.

So it's one year later and I finally finished a Burt Ward Robin to match my Adam West Batman.

Nice use of value on the Adam West, there's a full range which gives the sense of volume, and three dimensionality. Good job having the portraits slighty to the left or right, of center on the page, makes for interesting shapes in the negative space as well. Well done.

Not Kubert's school, although that would be pretty cool. I'm glad I got to meet Joe Kubert before he passed. I'm hoping to get into the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.

bovard, I did this in oils. Thanks for the kind words! Blush
