Okay this is something we’ve heard all over the net. That the internet is filled with bots, paid trolls pretending to be multiple if not hundreds of different accounts, now AI filling for them, etc. This is the basis for the whole “dead internet” theory that believes a majority like 80% of the internet is filled with these things.
For those who don’t know, websites do this both as a way to manipulate the search engines as the more traffic it gets (regardless if it’s all fake), the more likely they’ll pop up at the top of search engines. The other reason is to trick advertisers and sponsors to think more people visits the site than they actually do so they can get more money from said advertisers and sponsors. However lets actually pinpoint this. What sites are you aware of does this? Lets bring up the obvious culprits here:
- Youtube: what even needs to be said here? First site to run completely off of AI algorithms, first site to implement turning things into a police state where censorship is the norm not and exceptions, and even before their police state overtune in 2016, the site was filled with trolls who would harass anyone who questions big brother (the government, big corporations, media narratives, etc). Its’ the reason sites like Rumble, Odysee, (banned)ute, etc were all created because a large scale banning and deletion of alternative media channels.
- Facebook: it’s Mark Zuckerberg’s company aka the guy who stole facebook idea from someone else, you think using AI bots and trolls is beneath him?
- Twitter: Elon being the moron he is outright exposed the majority of the pro-MAGAt aka people on his site accounts were overwhelming troll accounts from people who lives outside of the US.
- Reddit: I have no clue why this site was talked about so much since it’s one of the most useless sites I’ve ever been to. And after finding out the city with the biggest amount of reddit users is a literal US military base, everything makes sense afterwards.
Now for some people might not be aware of
- Dailywire: Facebook ironically enough outright exposed that the trolls over at Dailywire uses sock muppet accounts and bots to inflate their subscriber numbers for the reasons I mentioned earlier. Even Dailywire staff members have been suspected of doing this for their own individual channels.
- Comicvine: can verify this site outright copied and paste a thread I wrote on the site hcrealms complete with the responses from the thread. Would explain how this crappy site has thousands of active users and a new thread or response literally ever minute. Ala overwhelming majority of it is botted and AI. Though considering how much trolls love to hang around this place, guess it's not that surprising.
What other sites are there? I’m sure I’m missing some obvious names out there. Basically any site that has a suspicious amount of traffic despite they shouldn’t is a heavy candidate here.

Seemed like a long post to rundown a list of websites you hate, highlighting reasons that have little to do with AI or bots. To be fair, you can't be accused of being partisan, as it seems you dislike right and left leaning websites equally. Are there websites you do like?
As for your criteria that a website using bots and AI is "any site that has a suspicious amount of traffic despite they shouldn’t" is nebulous. I would think that the websites you listed ARE big enough to assume they have a rather large amount of traffic.
