Ok Shane, I will say that was the 2nd best line in the show. Me and my cousin watch SP every week and we both got a big kick out of Craig in the 2 part Cloverfield episode. His whole thing about saying such drastic things without changing his tone or even looking up. He just sat there eating his food, looking down, and without missing a beat. "Peru." =)) =)) =))

That would be none other than Trey Parker, who does about 90% of the voices for the show. Matt Stone does Kyle, I THINK Kyle's dad, and of course any character that you hear with his real voice. Trey does Stan, Cartman, Mr Garrison, Mr Mackey, Stan's dad, Officer Bar Brady, the news anchor guy, the male on the spot news people .......... the list is endless. Sorry, big Trey and Matt fan, I've seen all their movies, and every episode of South Park, so I know who does what.

I also did a little research, Trey and Matt are involved in 2 new movies. in 2009 we can expect Giant Monsters Attack Japan, and in 2011 look out for My All American. No info, just years and titles right now.

The idea was that these good kids, straight-A students, well behaved, etc, were acting "goth." And the goth kids are like "WTF, they look like us, people are mistaking them for us, but they're [i]nothing like us at all[/i]." To them, these kids were posers. So it's got nothing to do with vampires liking healthy things, and all to do with "good" children falling into a silly fad. They weren't changing anything other than their appearances, just to look cool.

I must have missed said acknowledgment. If you have the CD you must be very familiar with the "Life's Gonna Suck" song, been ages since I heard that, I never got the CD but I have the double DVD of the 2 shows. The full show of No Cure has some great stuff that's not on the CD I had in high school, like him talking about his dad. Well, since this is the South Park thread, and we are in hiatus until friggin' March ............... how about we discuss our favorite SP bits. I will say my ALL TIME favorite SP moment was in the movie, when Cartman did the "Kyle's mom is a b!tch" song. Some honorable mentions for me are; the ending of "Scott Tenorman Must Die", Butters' actions in the Lord of the Rings episode, the time when you get to see what Cartman sees when he closes his eyes, when Mr Garisson asks the kids if they had seen his penis, and to offer it some cheese, and of course the episode when everyone is pooing orally. We can also do most shocking moment, but the problem is, I already know the winner by a LAND SLIDE. Randy Marsh, and a computer ........... need I say more? Again, honorable mentions; Red Rocket, Kenny getting high on cat pee, and the mouse with Mr Garisson's penis singing ala "American Tale" on the fence in the moonlight. The floor is now open for more on this.

Hmm hard to say. I love all the bits between Cartman and his cat XD It's just so freaking cute! Not to mention all of Ike's scenes b/c he's cute. Obscenely hilarious? Ive been watching a lot of season 12 lately, some episode are hillarious! Elementary School Musical was great! "That was my power pack. I'm Scott Macinson, I have diabetes." :)) That kids dad who keeps slapping people was sooooo fucking funny! when his wife hit him back I laughed my pants off!!! :)) =)) I really liked the episode, The Ungroundables! It was soooo true the whole thing! Major Boobage was pretty funny.

Yeah the vamp episode was a GREAT season closer especially after the musical one. I agree the slapping dad was funny but ultimately the episode left me a bit cold. Go back a couple pages and read where we talked about it. I have a post about Craig getting the best line in that one.

So who is Mysterion? I think it's hilarious that they just had him lift up the eye mask, so you still can't tell who it is. And the kid didn't talk anymore after that, either. It IS someone Eric called out though, which...kind of limits it. To Stan, Craig, Clyde, or Kenny. He mentioned Kyle too, but it's obviously not Kyle. It actually kind of sounds like Craig, to me. I'm going to pretend it was Wendy, because that would so make my day.

Ahahaha, I love Cartman soooo much. The way his ego just kept getting more and more out of control was hilarious. It happens EVERY episode, but it's super hilarious that he doesn't even realize it. I don't pay attention to rap music, so I didn't get the Kanye West jokes (I guess he's lacking a sense of humor?). But I did appreciate the Carlos Mencia jokes since I can't stand him. Favorite part though had to be Craig telling Jimmy that he should just go with it, and that he should consider himself lucky Cartman was only asking for half the credit/profits. Craig is getting some serious screen time lately, and it's always hysterical.

I don't know, I was kinda on the fence with the episode. Just seems to me I am kinda tired of the up to date stuff thats put in. I know it makes the show very fresh since it's all on our minds but sometimes I think they cram too much. I like that there are one or two (what seem to be ) drawn out episodes still but in 10 years when I watch the DVD's am I going to remember the Susan Boyle joke?

As much as I loved English class and love literature, that is always one of the things that bugged me. They pick books apart line by line, and I'm like...hey, how do we know this without having the author tell us? Fortunately Tolkien, my favorite author, had no problem explaining where his ideas came from, and more so, where they did not. And when you know a lot about an author's life, that makes it easier, because you can take what you know and interpret the story. That's really useful for people like Hugo, Dickens, Milton, Chaucer - knowing about their lives and their political and religious views lets you know exactly what they're trying to say in their writings. I got really upset when one of my college professor's tried to tell me that EA Poe's The Fall of the House of Usher was about a homosexual relationship between the two main characters. I went "WTF? That's not in there ANYWHERE." When we had an exam that covered that story, I left out his stupid a$$ interpretation and took a psychological approach (that all these crazy things were happening because of his mental state; like he was blowing things out of proportion because he was freaked out). When I got my paper back, he actually wrote on there "Hey, why didn't you talk about what we talked about in class," and I'm too nice to tell him I thought he was a dumbass. I don't think he docked me for it, so whatever. So aside from trying to come up with all manner of interpretations, what REALLY bugs me is when someone will only accept a single, their own, interpretation, and not anyone else's. Of course, I say that, and I flat out refused my professor's interpretation, lol. But it was really, really dumb. :)

The Ziplining episode was one of the worst ones they have done. When it went to live action was just awful. Probably a lot of people out there that love it but it just wasn't enjoyable at all to me.
