Comic Character Names and the correct pronunciations

Was on another forum, and the topic came up on how to pronounce Daken's name. I've heard a lot of people call him "Daykin" but the actual pronunciation is "Dah-kin" or "Dokken" like the rock/metal band.

The reason I made this topic was to see if anyone here had a character or characters that they wasn't sure about? Examples for me would be Thanos, I've heard that name pronounced about 3-4 different ways.

Does anyone have similar stories?

1. I have always thought Daken to be pronounced Day-ken. I know I heard an interview once with Joe Q and he pronounced it that way.

2. Magneto has always been Magneeto. I don't know why though. The earliest pronounciation I heard of that though was on Spidey and his amazing friends and it was Magnet-o.

3. Ra's for me, is as it is said on BTAS.

Not a Canadian thing. I just associated Thanos with other "TH" names like:

Thomas
Thames River
Thyme
Thailand
Theresa

etc.....
