I am totally seeing Saw 4 and Sweeny Todd.......my HS chorus instructor showed us a tape of Sweeny being done on stage.....great story..........and with Burton and Depp doing this.......its a must see.........and plus I gotta see if the Saw dude is dead yet or not......yeah he "died" in 3 but it IS a horror movie

I love the joker, but I'm just almost positive they're gonna screw this up. Going to see Bright Star or Whip It this weekend, should be a good night for movies either way. Too bad there is much suck in the way of decent spooky movies coming out for Halloween as in none at all. Zombieland may be fun, but only worth seeing in the local 2nd run theatre. I refuse to see any Saw movie and just say no to any remake by Rob Zombie, or any remake for that matter. Luckily one of the local art houses is showing a months worth of vampire movies and another one is doing 25 hours of horror movie classics on Halloween.

Also it is an indie film that a big studio bought so it is low budget with no big name actors.I think they said the movie costed around 20k but I may be wrong so don't qoute me on it. They are calling it the next Blair Witch Project but better because it is scarier. Myself I haven't even seen a preview of it so I couldn't say either way.I just figured I would share what I read in the article.

A sequel has been announced already but we'll see. Funny you mention the Hulk, IMO the path to glory for the FF is to have the rights revert to Disney so they can finally do a Hulk/Thing battle. Does it bug anyone else that the Hulk doesn't talk more? In the comics the Hulk refers to himself in the 3rd person and calls his enemy bug-ears or whatever, seems like there's a lot of humor being left on the table. What about "Hulk is the strongest one there is" or "The madder Hulk gets the stronger Hulk gets"? A couple classic Hulk lines would hit the spot.

I'm tempted to see FF tomorrow, it's playing with Ant-Man at the local drive in. Two movies for nine bucks and I think I might even have a coupon for a free popcorn somewhere. i sat through Pixels last week, so I think i can handle FF even with the bad reviews.

Final tally is in, FF took in 25.7 mil opening weekend, that's pretty much a car wreck. Anyone know when the next superhero movie is? We get one this fall?

The thing I don't get is that EVERYONE saw this coming. Maybe not this final under 30 million dollar number, but the indifference and likely failure. It's a head-scratcher for sure. I'm pretty sure the next "big" one is Deadpool in February. That's such a different beast though since it's going for a hard R rating and is already trending very well.
