Title Bio

After six issues as "Amazing Adventures" and eight issues as "Amazing Adult Fantasy" the series was titled, "Amazing Fantasy" for its final issue in August 1962.

Issue #15 is the first appearance of Marvel's flagship super-hero: Spider-Man. Nine months later, Spider-Man takes the spotlight in his own monthly title, "The Amazing Spider-Man," which is published to this day.

Starting in December 1995, Marvel published three more issues of "Amazing Fantasy" featuring new Spider-Man tales written by Kurt Busiek.
