"Iron Man Is Born!"

Billionaire playboy by night, genius weapons maker by day, Tony Stark visits Vietnam to sell his latest wares. Warlord Wong-Chu of the North Vietnamese is ruthless, and will stop a nothing to crush the opposition. When Stark steps on a land mine and falls into the hands of Wong-Chu, he is faced with a choice, either design weapons for the enemy or die from the shrapnel around his heart. Fellow prisoner Yinsen helps Stark design his first armor, which includes a breastplate that keeps his heart beating. Yinsen ultimately gives his life for Stark, but Iron Man avenges him.
