The Thing visits Johnny Storm to tell him Paste-Pot Pete has been paroled from prison. Pete has devised a new, more dangerous costume, and plots his vengeance against the FF. Paste-Pot Pete traps the Thing and the Human Torch comes flying to his rescue.
