After Clark wins a free trip to Metropolis to work as a cub reporter for a week on the Daily Planet. Clark meets a young Lois Lane and finds her attractive. Lois however finds Clark dull and tries to pump him for information on Superboy. Later Clark must rescue Lois as Superboy from a gang of crooks.
