Captain Metis is the proud commander of a relic spaceship from Earth, the Bellerophon, which set out hundreds of years ago to explore deep space. He crosses paths with Dylan Hunt during an Ogami attack on the Maru. Metis offers to help repair Hunts damaged spaceship. But this untrustworthy captain has lost the faith of his own crew, who question their current mission and are planning a mutiny.
