The Penguin plots to kidnap Cal Ripken, Jr. during a parade for the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation. Luckily Batman is there to stop the penguin, although the newly inducted hall-of-famer might not even need the help.

This comic was included as a stapled-in insert in many Archie, DC and Bongo issues from May-July 2007. However, the insert was printed and bound separately. Some of these unbound inserts were provided to the baseball star's staff (and possibly other recipients) as promo material. The version listed here can be distinguished from the stapled-in inserts by the lack of additional staple holes other than from the two staples that bind the pages of the insert.
