Superman (1987) 78-A by DC
Item Bio
"Alive"
Triangle 1993-14. Continued from Superman: The Man of Steel #22 and continues in Adventures of Superman (1987) #501.
A third super-powered figure now claims to be Superman, and this one is a cyborg! Intent on locating Doomsday, the cyborg demands the corpse at S.T.A.R. Labs only to learn that after they were unable to analyze the monster the president allowed Cadmus to take him. After breaking into Cadmus he sends Doomsday on a space trajectory that should allow him no contact with any worlds. After his return to Earth, he is "greeted" by a skeptical Lois Lane. Convincing him to join her at Emil Hamilton's lab for analysis the results deepens Lois's hope that maybe this cyborg just may be the Clark resurrected.
This issue features a center-fold "The Man of Tomorrow!" poster of Cyborg Superman by Dan Jurgens and Brett Breeding.
